2016 TRAEF Game On! | Playing For Education
From her time as a Hockadaisy to her years studying business administration at Babson College, the owner of Asian Mint, Nikky Phinyawatana, exemplifies the benefits of a great education.
Amazing things can happen when a sharp and driven entrepreneur-in-the-making benefits from an education guiding her in the right direction. Nikky’s hard work, solid education and unique vision is no doubt the reasons behind the success that Asian Mint is today. She also serves on the Board of Trustees for the Texas Restaurant Education Foundation.
Asian Mint intentionally supports causes that make it possible for anyone to enjoy the gift of education, especially those who need a little extra help. Asian Mint seeks to empower future generations of culinary artists, masters, workers and business owners through education, and we’re thrilled to invite you to a new and exciting event!
TOPGOLF GOLF TOURNAMENT
The Texas Restaurant Education Foundation will host the first ever “Game On!” golf tournament on Monday, October 24th at Top Golf. Proceeds from this tournament will benefit future generations of culinary masters through the Foundation.
The tournament will kick off at four different Top Golf locations in Texas at the same time (Dallas, Austin, Houston and San Antonio). A winning team will be chosen at each location, and the team with the highest score will go home with a trophy and much deserved bragging rights.
You don’t need actual golf skills or spiky shoes to take part; in fact, all you need is a passion to support a great cause and have a blast while you’re at it. A generous spirit, positive attitude and willing to have fun are the only requirements.
The competition between these four cities will be fun and fierce. We want to show Texas how much Dallas cares about supporting education and work training, so let’s play to win!
Join us and make sure you secure your spot. Registration closes on Friday, October 7th, and there will be no onsite registration for players.
