Just recently, Texas Governor Greg Abbott launched the Comfort Food Care Packages (CFCP) program. This initiative aims to provide vulnerable families and youth all over Texas an additional food source during the Covid-19 crisis. At the same time, the program supports the Texas restaurant industry as a way of keeping them open at this time. CFCP is a collaboration between the Public Safety Office and a number of civic organizations, including the Texas Restaurant Association.
Giving is part of our philosophy and we all need to help each other out in this critical time. Thus, Asian Mint has joined the CFCP program. Chef Nikky Phinyawatana has put together a meal package that can feed a family in need the Asian Mint way. We’re inviting you Mint Fanatics to help us in this endeavor by buying a food package for someone who may need it.
Asian Mint’s Comfort Food Care Packages are available online
Our version of the CFCP contains a complete meal enough to feed a family of four to six people. Inside the package are a few Asian Mint favorites: chicken fried rice, orange chicken, house salad, fried veggie eggrolls, and cookies.
You can buy a package for $100. The price includes the fee for delivering the food to the intended recipient’s doorstep.
While you’re at it, you can also donate a meal to our frontliners. These are the medical professionals and essential support personnel helping us fight Covid-19. For $10, you can show your appreciation for these brave people and feed their souls with a fresh Asian Mint meal.

Let’s all do our part and help each other overcome the war against the coronavirus.
Stay safe, Mint Fanatics, and see you soon!
