Asian Mint Launches Donate a Meal Drive for North Texas Food Bank in May

Hey, Mint Fanatics! As you probably know by now, we’re doing a donate a meal drive aiming to feed our frontline health workers fighting the good fight against Covid-19. But we want to spread the love even further and feed more souls. So, starting May 1, we’re launching a similar donate a meal drive for the benefit of the North Texas Food Bank (NTFB).

NTFB provides meals to food-insecure families in 13 northern Texas counties

The Dallas-Fort Worth area is becoming known throughout the country for its vibrant and exciting food scene. Despite this, however, there are families within DFW—and in North Texas—who struggle to put food on the table daily.

This is where the North Texas Food Bank steps in. Every year, NTFB distributes more than 52 million meals to food-insecure families in 13 counties in North Texas, including Dallas.

However, the Covid-19 pandemic is expected to bring new challenges to feeding families in the area. After all, the pandemic has forced many businesses, including restaurants, to close down temporarily in an effort to contain the spread of the novel coronavirus. Many find themselves without jobs and, therefore, without the means to feed their families.

Asian Mint has always been big on giving. So, we’re going to help the NTFB feed more souls in this difficult time. We invite you to join us in this donate a meal endeavor.

How can you donate a meal to NTFB through Asian Mint?

On May 1, we shall be adding a new link on our ChefMint page that will take you to Asian Mint’s online ordering system. Just like with our feed the frontline drive, it will only cost you $10 to donate a meal to NTFB.

These are challenging times we live in, and we need to help each other in these trying times. We hope you can join us in sharing our blessings with Texan families in need.

Stay safe, Mint Fanatics, and see you soon.
