So It Happened: What Went Down at D Magazine’s Best of Big D 2018 Party

So, it finally happened. The Best of Big D 2018– arguably one of the best Dallas parties of the year – has come and gone. And boy, was it a whirl!
The folks at D Magazine really know how to throw a party, that we can say for sure. The Bomb Factory was packed with over 2,000 party people, and it was a privilege for us to meet some of them. Local artists Bobby Sessions, Sudie, Abraham Alexander, Medicine Man Revival, DJ Souljah, and his protégé the 11-year-old DJ Vex gave sizzling-hot performances.
Needless to say, the food was awesome. As we’ve mentioned before, Asian Mint served up a signature dish – bacon fried rice with green onion, white onion, and eggs. And with more than 40 restaurants setting up shop and showing why they’re named among the Best of Big D 2018 Food and Drink category, good eats are overflowing at that party.
The highlight of the party, of course, is the Big Reveal – who got in the Best of Big D 2018 lists. As we’ve announced earlier, Asian Mint is Readers’ Choice for Best Thai Restaurant in Dallas.
Anyway, enough talk. Pics or it didn’t happen, right? Here’s a dose of pics of what went down at The Bomb Factory that night of July 25th:
