Hey, Mint Fanatics! Got plans for this Thursday, March 26 yet? If not, we’re inviting you to see our Chef Nikky Phinyawatana at the Dallas Arboretum Food and Wine Festival. Once again, Chef Nikky is joining the roster of chefs to be featured at the festival’s grand tasting kick-off—her third time since this annual foodie shindig started.
Dallas Arboretum’s Festival is on its fourth year
The Dallas Arboretum once again presents foodies the opportunity to enjoy springtime blooms while sampling some of the best eats that DFW offers. For its fourth year, the Arboretum has adopted the festival theme “Sounds of Spring” to celebrate the 500,000 bulbs about to bloom in its gardens.
The festival opens on Thursday, March 26 with its Grand Tasting evening. At the Grand Tasting, 40 chefs will present a sample of their signature dishes. A superb selection of wines and beers will also be available. As mentioned earlier, Chef Nikky will be among the 40 featured chefs.
The Grand Tasting will be from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. But if you’re a VIP ticket-holder, you can get in at 6:00 PM. Not only do you get a head start from the rest of the crowd, but you also get a complimentary signature cocktail and valet parking. General admission tickets are up for $150 each, while VIP tickets are priced at $250.
The festival’s main event is on the weekend, on March 28 and 29. There you can taste samples of the best food and drinks you’ll find in Dallas. There will also be a Garden Market, where you can browse and buy unique items from the participating vendors. A portion of the proceeds from the Garden Market will be contributed to the Arboretum.
See you at the Dallas Arboretum Food and Wine Festival
If you have nothing planned for March 26, 28, and 29, why not attend the Dallas Arboretum Food and Wine Festival? It’s a one-of-a-kind experience that happens only once a year. Plus, Chef Nikky will be there.
