Chefs in Dallas are putting their best foot forward to benefit Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. Asian Mint ®’s Nikky Phinyawatana will be one of the participating chefs at the Dallas $10K for Kids 2nd Annual Charity Drive 2017. Chef Nikky has always actively participated in organizations that help kids and help our community.
This year’s Pop-up and Game Night will begin on Saturday April 22, 2017 at 4 pm and continue through Sunday April 23, 2017. Asian Mint ® actively works toward the betterment of society–with special attention given to charities related to kids’ development.
The evening will see two sets of chefs—These Royal Lady Chefs, and Chefs of Royalty. The first group of chefs has Asian Mint ®’s Chef Nikky Phinyawatana, 3015’s Sharon Van Meter, and Tower Club’s Ashley T. Henson. The Chefs of Royalty group will have Chefs Justin Holt of Lucia and Nick Amoriello of Pioneer.
The event is scheduled to take place at the Industry Alley Bar, which is owned and operated by Dallas’ Charlie Pap. Royal Lady Chefs will serve food and cocktails from 7pm-10pm on April 22nd. Whereas, the second group of Chefs will offer their Pop-Up style dinner from 10pm-1am. Visitors can enjoy the dinner by paying a mere $20 per plate, and specialty drink tickets cost only $5. Also, participants will have a chance to increase their donation to the hospital through plenty of silent auction items.
Every year, Asian Mint ® makes donations to over a hundred different charities, schools, and non-profit organizations. The business donates with the trust that it can be profitable and charitable at the same time. Hence, it does not take a tax write off for these donations. This event’s beneficiary, Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, offers treatment to a huge number of kids suffering from severe orthopedic conditions. The hospital also provides treatments to the young athletes with sports injuries.
If you also want to be a part of this worthy cause, mark the date, April 22nd, in your calendar. Enjoy the amazing food and cocktails, and do a good deed!
