What is it?

The Dallas Chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier International (LDEI Dallas) hosts their annual fundraising event each spring featuring food, wine and fine beverage that showcase local female chefs, farmers, winemakers and fine beverage producers. Plus, this year, we are honored to host a fantastic group of female winemakers and winery owners as our special guests.

Through event ticket sales, as well as fund raising opportunities, i.e. sponsorships, raffles and auction items, the funds raised by the annual event will be distributed to scholarship endowments that benefit qualified female applicants who have chosen careers in the culinary, wine, fine beverage and hospitality industries.

When and where is it?

The celebration will take place on Sunday, March 5, 2017 from 6pm-9pm with advance admittance for our sponsors and special guests at Sixty Five Hundred Event Space.

What has been said?

The Les Dames Scholarship for me was opportunity to be connected to something bigger than myself. I was immediately welcomed in fellowship and mentorship with a family of women who seek to not just be great women, but to give greatness to others through their work, their efforts, and their example. Les Dames D’ Escoffier scholarship helped me to garner a more fervent focus on endeavors resembling those like of the women of Les Dames d’Escoffier. That as a woman, in my everyday walk, I should use, yes, their gift of scholarship to me but also my own gifts as resources to “pay it forward!”, if you will, and give greatness to others, willingly with passion & love and in a phenomenal way to better and change the lives of those within my growing reach!!
