ASIAN MINT CELEBRATES OPENING IN INWOOD VILLAGE
Dallas, TX—Asian Mint, the popular North Dallas Asian fusion dining destination, plans an early fall opening of restaurant #3 in Inwood Village. Celebrating 12 years of serving New Bangkok style cuisine, the Inwood location (in the former Café Istanbul space) is a welcomed addition to the original on Forest Lane and a sister location on Oak Lawn.
Diners can expect the 70-seat restaurant to have the same bright green interior with clean lines and fresh modern art.
Opening in 2005 at Hwy 75 and Forest Lane, across from Medical City, Asian Mint has been recognized by Dallas Eater for #1 Best Thai food; Culture Map Top 100 Restaurants; and Dallas Observer Best of Dallas Thai Iced Tea. Previously, the restaurant was named Critic’s Choice Best Asian Food by the Dallas Observer and received the 100 Best Restaurants nod from D Magazine.
“We are excited to see our Asian Mint Restaurant Group growing”, says proprietor Nikky Phinyawatana. “Our expansion of love project to share the love of food and passionately feeding souls is why we do what we do.”
Nikky was recently featured at the Dallas Arboretum in their Chefs in Nature Series; cooked for the internationally renowned Chef Jacques Pepin; and Asian Mint was featured in USA Today as a top Dallas restaurant featuring Gluten Free alternatives. The restaurant group will be featured at the famed James Beard House in New York on November 8, where they will celebrate the Asian Full Moon festival of Loy Kratong featuring traditional Thai dishes and wine pairing.
Asian Mint is located at 11617 N.Central Expressway at the southwest corner of Central and Forest Lane across from Medical City. Hours of operation are Mon.-Sat. 11:00 am-10:00 pm and Sun. 11:00 am—9:00 pm. They offer happy hour specials Monday-Friday 3pm-6pm and Brunch on Saturdays & Sundays from 11am-3pm. The sister restaurant opened in 2009 in Highland Park is in the Shops of Highland Park at 4246 Oak Lawn Ave. Hours of operation are Mon.-Thurs. 11:00 am-3:00 pm and 5:00 pm-9:30 pm; Fri.-Sat. 11:00 am-10:00 pm; closed Sunday.
