Dallas, TX—Asian Mint, the popular North Dallas Asian fusion dining destination is celebrating 12 years of serving New Bangkok style cuisine and recent recognitions in the culinary world.

Opening in 2004 at Hwy 75 and Forest Lane, across from Medical City, Asian Mint recently has been recognized by Dallas Eater for #1 Best Thai food; Culture Map Top 100 Restaurants; and Dallas Observer Best of Dallas Thai Iced Tea. Previously, the restaurant was named Critic’s Choice Best Asian Food by the Dallas Observer and received the 100 Best Restaurants nod from D Magazine.

“We are excited for our Asian Mint Restaurant Group to be recognized in this way,” says proprietor Nikky Phinyawatana. “My husband, Tan, who likes to be behind the scenes in the kitchen, joins our team in being committed to continuing the quest for the best.”

Leading off Anniversary celebrations, Nikky was recently featured at the Dallas Arboretum in their Chefs in Nature Series; cooked for the internationally renowned Chef Jacques Pepin; and Asian Mint was featured in USA Today as a top Dallas restaurant featuring Gluten Free alternatives.

This just in…..Asian Mint has been invited to appear at the famed James Beard House in Nov. 2017.

To continue the celebrations, during the Anniversary month of October, all bottles of wine will be half price.

Asian Mint is located at 11617 N. Central Expressway at the southwest corner of Central and Forest Lane across from Medical City.  Hours of operation are Mon.-Sat. 11:00 am-10:00 pm and Sun. 11:00 am—9:00 pm. Sister restaurant, The Mint, opened in 2009 in Highland Park is in the Shops of Highland Park at 4246 Oak Lawn Ave. Hours of operation are Mon.-Thurs. 11:00 am-3:00 pm and 5:00 pm-9:30 pm; Fri.-Sat. 11:00 am-10:00 pm; closed Sunday.  They offer happy hour specials Monday-Friday 5-6:30 pm and Brunch on Saturdays from 11 am-3 pm.
