Hello, Mint Fanatics! We’ve got Asian Mint in the news again lately and, as always, we’re thrilled when someone prints something about the restaurant and our Chef Nikky. Here’s a roundup of the press we received lately.
Labor Day Specials
Labor Day is a special day for all of us—a time to be spent with the people we love. We just can’t let a thing like the coronavirus pandemic ruin this special day now, can we?
So, like any Dallas business making the most out of the situation, we did what we do best—and that is to create a fresh and healthy Thai meal that you’ll enjoy. For Labor Day, we had a family-for-four special that included egg rolls, papaya salad, green basil fried rice, pad woon sen, and a six-pack of assorted Asian beers.
Dallas Observer picked up this tidbit and included it in its list of meal kits for Labor Day. Thank you, Dallas Observer, for writing about us.
Katy Trail Weekly also did a story on ponies and parties amid the pandemic, focusing on hope and Dallas restaurants adapting to the circumstances. Asian Mint made it to the magazine’s list of said Dallas restaurants. Thank you, Katy Trail Weekly, for the writeup.
September cooking class
Chef Nikky’s monthly cooking classes have always been a major event for us. She loves doing these classes because they give her an opportunity to share her love for Thai food and culture. They also allow her to interact more closely with you Mint Fanatics. With the pandemic preventing this close interaction from happening, Chef Nikky put a tech twist to her classes and began hosting them over Zoom.
We’re so happy that an Asian Mint in the news moment came from People Newspapers, which included Chef Nikky’s September virtual cooking class in its foodie events calendar. The article described the cooking class as putting a spin on Asian Mint dishes and making them into brunch favorites. It also added that Drama Queen Crispy Thai Chili is now available on Amazon. Thank you, People Newspapers, for the mention.
There you have it, Mint Fanatics! That’s Asian Mint in the news recently. Let’s tune in to the next write-up.
Oh, and in case you missed it, Asian Mint Inwood Village is now open for dining in. Have you been there already?
Stay safe and see you soon!
